Born 1974 in Arzignano, Italy
Andrea Bianconi is interested in the human being intended as isolated and social identity at the same time and as accumulation of tensions which simultaneously attract and repulse itselves with a compulsive behaviour.
The artist is interested in the idea of flow, in the waterfall, in the flow of consequent words, in the possible trip between consciousness and unconscious, between life and death. Objects are the most important part of his work. In general he uses objects trouvés, selected objects, objects connected each other.
Bianconi works around the concept of isolation which produces, in his idea, a glorification of ourselves and, at the same time, causes a desire to escape from the reality to find again a new isolation.
Island as Is-Land. Own as Now.
